We are dedicated to helping women improve their mental and financial well-being and access more support. HerPower Community aims to address unique challenges that women entrepreneurs face, such as systemic undervaluing, imposter syndrome, perfectionism, fear of failure, and isolation.
£250 Million Boost For Female Founders Backed By U.K. Chancellor
U.K. Finance Minister Rachel Reeves has endorsed a new initiative aimed at directing more investment toward female-led founder teams. Central to this plan is the establishment of a £250 million “fund of funds” to support female founders.
Why is the HerPower Community needed?
Data from the first half of 2024 shows that the amount of capital going to back all-male founder teams has increased from 80% in the first half of 2023 to 86%, while the amount of capital going to businesses founded by women has decreased from 2.0% to 1.8% (source).
