HerPower Community Launches to Empower Women Entrepreneurs
The 29th November 2024 will mark the exciting launch of HerPower, an inclusive community dedicated to empowering women to recognise their limitless potential and pursue their ambitions with confidence. The VIP launch party is set to take place from midday until 4pm in the heart of Cheshire, bringing together some of the most influential female entrepreneurs, leaders, and supporters from across the UK.
The exclusive event will feature inspiring speeches, networking opportunities, and a showcase of HerPower Community’s initiatives aimed at challenging societal norms, dismantling stigmas, and fostering a safe space where every woman can harness her inner strength, think growth, and act with intent.
This coincides with the recent announcement from U.K. Finance Minister, Rachel Reeves whereby £250 million “fund of funds” initiative to increase investment in female-led founder teams, making this the perfect occasion to align our collective goals of supporting female entrepreneurs.
Why HerPower Community?
Data from the first half of 2024 highlights the need for targeted support: the amount of capital going to all-male founder teams has surged to 86%, while investment in businesses founded by women has dropped to 1.8%. HerPower Community aims to reverse these disparities by providing tools, support, and a powerful network for women in business.
